La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association’s major donor party for 2013 was held on Dec. 29. The huge tent located at the Under the Bridge City was packed with well wishers and friends gathered to honor 11 past presidents. The event offered the opportunity as well to thank those who provide major support to create the city’s entry into the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Almost complete was the decorating of “Dog Gone!” featuring a dog catcher in high animation trying to retrieve his truck stolen by five frisky dogs. The float won the Bob Hope Humor Award.
