High school senior women who will be attending a four-year college/university in the fall are invited to attend the Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship Social on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Glendale. This event will provide information for those interested in learning more about sororities or who want to apply for a scholarship. Parents are welcome to attend.
The high school scholarships are available to young women who have resided in Glendale, Burbank, La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose, Tujunga or Sunland during their high school years, or are graduating from one of the public or private high schools in one of these cities. Flyers are available at high school counselors’ offices and information is available on the Panhellenic website. Attendees must RSVP by Feb. 13. Anyone interested in applying for a scholarship must attend the scholarship social; scholarship applications for high school applicants will not be available through the schools or by mail.
Scholarships will also be available to an active collegiate member of a National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sorority. To be eligible, young women must have resided in Glendale, Burbank, La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose, Tujunga or Sunland during their high school years, or graduated from one of the public or private high schools in one of these cities. Applicants must be an undergraduate and NPC sorority member in good standing in the fall 2014. Applications for college member scholarships are available on the Panhellenic website, and must be returned, with all information required, no later than March 20.
