Groundbreaking for the construction of College View School, a school designed for students needing highly specialized care, took place Wednesday afternoon. College View School is located at 1700 E. Mountain Ave. in Glendale and members of the Glendale Unified School District board of education were joined by district officials, staff, students and parents of the school for the ceremony.
The new building will feature 37,846 square feet of special education classrooms with an additional 14,184 square feet on the second floor to house other programs.
