The Rosemont Preserve is opening its gates to the community on Saturday, March 22, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a special focus on activities for families. Bring the kids for hands-on games, art projects and learning related to plants, animals and local Native American heritage at the Preserve. There will also be docent-led walks at 3:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. for those wishing to further explore the preserve ecosystem.

The public is invited to celebrate the rebirth and renewal of nature. The preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park, 5107 Rosemont Ave., La Crescenta. Those planning on walking the trail should wear sturdy shoes.

This event is open to the public and completely free. Sorry, no pets please. Rain cancels event.
