Lincoln Elementary kicked off the last day of school before spring break with its fourth spirit day of the year called Leprechaun/Green Day.

Lincoln’s student council, under the direction of teachers Nicolas James and Sarah Morris, again hired bagpiper John McDonald to greet the students as they came to school on Friday, March 14 playing traditional Irish songs. Lincoln students Riley Welsh, Sinead Martin and her sisters Ciara and Sayla Martin with Lincoln graduates danced along as McDonald played from 7:45 a.m. until first bell rang at 8:15 a.m.

Principal Stephen Williams and his staff got into the spirit by wearing kilts to show their school spirit. Students also participated by wearing green socks, shirts, glasses, hats and even wigs! It was a very fun and memorable way to start the day.
