The Social Security Administration is seeking individuals with outstanding customer service skills to fill contact representative and claim representative positions. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.

Consideration is given to veterans who meet the following criteria:

• Disabled veterans or

• Veterans who served on active duty in the Armed Forces during a war, or a campaign or expeditions for which a campaign badge has been authorized or

• Veterans who, while serving on active duty in the Armed Forces, participated in a military operation for which an Armed Forces Service Medal was awarded or

• “Recently separated veterans” meaning veterans last separated from active duty within the past three years.
