Mountain Avenue Elementary School is hosting M.A.C.K. Night Out 2014 on Saturday, April 12 at 6 p.m.

The event takes place at the La Cañada Thursday Club and features food and beverage tastings of local eateries, craft brewers and wineries. There will also be live and silent auctions that offer local attractions, specialty items, themed class baskets and teacher experiences.

Guests will include live music, including a performance by FM Radio.

Proceeds from this event will fund the school’s art and music programs, library upgrades, computer lab, and new furniture and equipment for the Science Lab.

Premiere tickets are $50, which includes cocktail tastings. Standard tickets are $35 and include food tasting and nonalcoholic beverages only. Each year, the Mountain Avenue Elementary School education foundation, M.A.C.K. (Mountain Avenue Committed to Kids), raises close to $100,000 to enhance the education of each child in the school. Organizers rely on the generous donations of dedicated staff, parents and community each year in addition to the annual fundraisers.
