The Little Landers Historical Society is hosting, “To Mount Lowe With Love” on Saturday, March 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Bolton Hall Museum. The Mount Lowe Railway was one of the most popular tourist attractions in Southern California in the early 1900s. The scenic mountain railway began its journey in Altadena and terminated at the base of Mount Lowe, offering “supremely fascinating and grand” views according to a Pacific Electric Railway brochure written in 1905. It was an engineering feat of its time, navigating tight turns along canyon walls and in places making its way up a 62% incline. SoCal historian Wally Schidler will introduce “To Mount Lowe with Love,” a film chronicling the history of the railway.

Everyone is welcome to this free presentation.
