UPDATE: Missing Persons Found

Two individuals that were reported missing in the Glendale area have both been found. A 53-year-old woman with Down Syndrome went missing on Sunday from a group home in the 700 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard. She was found and safely returned to her residence this morning.

On Sunday, late afternoon, a man in his 80’s was reported missing from the far north Glendale area, near Crescenta Valley Park. He was found by Glendale police about 8 p.m. Sunday evening.

Neither individuals were injured, both were safely returned home.

Glendale police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing person. Janis Lynn Sepelia, 53, was last seen leaving her home at 11 a.m. Sunday morning from the 700 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard in Glendale. She suffers from Down syndrome and is on medication for a thyroid condition. Sepelia is 5′ tall, weighs 150 lbs., has short hair with bangs and green eyes. She was last seen wearing khaki pants and a long sleeved rust colored shirt. She does not have a cellphone. If seen, please contact Glendale police at (818) 548-5840.

Helicopters were heard earlier this evening in the vicinity of Crescenta Valley Park when Glendale police were searching for an 85-year-old missing man. The man was found around 7:45 p.m.
