Welcome New Members:

Are you running slow? Are you in need of an upgrade? Think you might have a virus? Or maybe it’s your computer with these issues. Whiz Computers specializes in computer repair as well as Apple and Android product repairs. You can bring it into their shop, or they can whiz out to your home or office, which ever suits you. Give them a call at (818) 875-8395, or visit them at 6924 Foothill Blvd., Tujunga.

Then after you have fine-tuned that computer, take a run or drive over to 168 Fitness. Located at 2866 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta, their goal is to guide you to become the best version of yourself, and their mission is to take people from good to awesome. Give them a call at (818) 249-7100 and visit their website at www.168fit.com.

Once you and your computer are doing well, maybe it’s time for some music. The philosophy of Foothill Music Academy is that learning to play an instrument can be a personal adventure. Foothill Music offers lessons for several instruments along with vocal training. They say if you want to learn it, they will teach you. Foothills Music invites you to schedule a free introductory lesson. Give them a call at (818) 951-5077, or visit them at their new La Crescenta location, 3210 Honolulu Ave., La Crescenta.

It’s more than just rubbish anymore. The philosophy of Burrtec Waste Industries, founded by the Burr family in 1955, is “We’ll Take Care of It.” The Burrtec plants are turning food waste into useful products for gardeners and farmers. They have transitioned over 168 diesel fuel trucks to natural gas trucks. The more we can take care of what we put out for waste, the more they can do. Burrtec Waste is located at 1017 W. Gladstone St., Azusa. They can be reached at (800) 325-9417, or check out their website at www.burrtec.com.

On behalf of the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce, welcome to these new members.

Just a reminder, we have a golf tournament tomorrow, Friday, at Scholl Canyon Golf Course. Give it a shot; what other sport takes the lowest score and calls it a winner?   If you don’t golf, join us anyway because we have some great opportunity prizes that will be won, including a 42” TV.

The CV Chamber of Commerce can be reached at (818) 248-4957, or visit us on the website www.crescentvalleychamber.org. The chamber is located at 3131 Foothill Blvd. ‘D’ in La Crescenta.
