Members of the local St. Bede the Venerable branch of the Italian Catholic Federation joined in the national celebration of the founding of the ICF in 1924. The St. Bede branch has been in the organization since 1984.

The celebration brought together 185 members of the Los Angeles Archdiocese at Casa Italiana on Sunday, June 29. Other celebrations were held in San Francisco and Chicago with similar turnouts. The proceeds of the events were directed to the Sir Luigi and Lady Augusta Providenza Seminary Scholarship Fund, which supports seminaries in the different districts of the 90-year-old organization. The local branch in LCF supports St. John Seminary in Camarillo.
