Crescenta Valley St. Luke’s Anglican Church welcomes all to its weekly Wednesday Eucharist service at 11:30 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Foothills, 1700 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada. Rector Fr. Rob Holman delivers an inspirational message; the service includes Holy Communion.
Sunday worship service is at 10:00 a.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Chapel, 300 Vallejo Dr., Glendale. Following service is a time of fellowship and a light meal on the outdoor terrace. Youth ages 12 to 18 are invited to Sunday evening The Encounter Youth Group gathering at 6:00 p.m. at Hook Tree, 5022 Hook Tree Road in La Cañada. Youth minister is David Bartholomew. St. Luke’s new office location is 3901 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (in the Four Square building near Lowell Avenue).

1st Baptist announces Easter plans
1st Baptist Church is hosting the following Easter celebration:
March 28 – Palm Sunday. A large wooden cross is temporarily being installed on the corner of Community and La Crescenta for anyone to put flowers/notes on. The community is encouraged to bring flowers to help decorate.
Palm Sunday service – 10:45 a.m.
April 2 – Good Friday service and communion at 7:00 p.m.
April 4 – Easter celebration begins at 9:30 a.m. with an Easter breakfast open to all. At 10:15 a.m. a Resurrection Egg Hunt for children of all ages with prizes. At 10:45 “I Will Rise” Easter celebration service. All are welcome and encouraged to bring friends and family to a memorable celebration.

March 28 – Palm Sunday services at 9:15 a.m. (contemporary service) and 11:00 a.m. (traditional).
Maundy Thursday, April 1 – at 7:00 p.m. with Holy Communion.
Good Friday, April 2 – A community “Hobo Supper” at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome; bring the entire family,
At 8:00 p.m. Inspirational candlelight prayer walk through the special prayer garden located on church grounds.
April 4 Easter Sunday – Easter Celebration Service at 10:30 a.m. followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.
