CV Station Needs Rummage Sale Items

Tools for school kids on village agenda
The Village invites parents and kids to join them for a discussion on how to handle saying no to drugs, dealing with bullying and communicating between parent and child.

The Village is a round table discussion group that was started by Hannah Sheklow and Mariam Barnes as a way for parents and children to have open, honest discussions on a variety of subjects. Although a theme is presented, the people who attend the meetings control the discussion matter.

On Monday, kids and adults will be guided through role playing exercises on a variety of topics. The Prom Plus Club kids will once again be on hand to help with the role playing exercise. Parents and kids are invited to attend.

The Village is held at Sadler Hall, St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church, 2563 Foothill Blvd., beginning at 7 p.m.
