Tuesday Table Talk
On Tuesday, Sept. 2, Bethel Church is showing the film “Heaven is for Real.”

This is a true story of the 4-year old son of a small-town Nebraska pastor who, during emergency surgery, slips from consciousness and enters heaven. When he awakes, he recounts his experiences on the other side. Rated PG.

The video will be preceded by a potluck supper. The potluck starts at 6:30 p.m., the video presentation starts at 7:15 p.m., followed by dessert and discussion at about 8:45 p.m. Free.

Choral Evensong at St. Luke’s Anglican
The public is invited to attend a contemplative evening of worship in song, led by the choir of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, on Sept. 14 at 5 p.m. This richly historical and moving service will feature the music of Mozart and Rutter, as well as traditional chants and responses.
