Plan Now for Kiwanis Wine & Gourmet Food Tasting

The 12th Annual La Cañada Flintridge Wine and Gourmet Food tasting is almost here! On Sunday, Sept. 28 at the La Cañada Flintridge Memorial Park, the tastings begin at 3 p.m. Le Petit Vendome will again have wineries and breweries pouring samples – last year there were about 80 wines and 20 beers poured. Kyle Hara, the food director for the Kiwanis Club of La Cañada will have rounded up 20 plus upscale restaurants and food purveyors to give samplings of their foods. The ladies of the LCF Chamber of Commerce will be at the entry gate to welcome you and give you a commemorative glass, buffet tray and program booklet. The background music will be by Ember and the Redhots with a sampling of rock ‘n roll and blues. The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation Endowment Fund will begin their live wine auction at 5:30 p.m. said Deborah Weirick the executive director.

The cost is only $50 ahead of time or $60 at the gate; this is the most fun you can have on a Sunday afternoon for this price. Of course, this is an adults only event; for more information and for tickets go to www.lacanadakiwanis.org/events.htm or call (818) 790-9901.
