Rosemont Middle School principal Cynthia Livingston, assistant principal Ron Sowers and Jaclyn Scott took the ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) ice bucket challenge on Thursday, Sept. 4.  The challenge came from the students but teacher Shannon Kracker wanted to make it a challenge to students as well. The three administrators would accept the ice bucket challenge if the students raised $1,200 for ALS.

Rosemont went beyond that by raising over $1,300.

“The big draw was Mr. Sowers,” Kracker said.

Most kids really wanted a cold bucket of water dumped over his head.  They were not disappointed.

The reaction of principal Cynthia Livingston shows that the water was indeed icy cold.
