St. Francis Keeps Rolling, Faces Calabasas Next

The Golden Knights football team is 4-0 after a 49-32 win against Canyon last week. Quarterback Jeremiah Martin continued his solid season with 19-of-27 passes completed for 215 yards and two touchdowns. Collectively, the team racked up 200 rushing yards. St. Francis and Cathedral are the only 4-0 teams in the Angelus League.

St. Francis hosts Calabasas Friday night at 7 p.m.

Facts: St. Francis is part of the Angelus League and completes for the CIF Southeast championship. Calabasas is part of the Canyon League and competes for the CIF Western championship.

Series: This is the first meeting between the two schools.

Last week: St. Francis defeated Canyon 49-32 and Calabasas lost to Rio Mesa 38-23 to run their record to 3-2.

Kick off today, Thursday: Kick off at St. Francis is at 7 p.m.

In the polls: St. Francis is ranked first in the CIF Southeast Division poll. Calabasas is not ranked.

Home again: This is the last of three straight home games before the Golden Knights begin league play with three consecutive road games.
