The ladies of the La Crescenta Woman’s Club are busy working on the final details for their first annual casino night taking place on Oct. 25 at the clubhouse. The event will offer guests the chance to perfect their gaming skills at blackjack, craps, roulette and poker. Club members will provide a bountiful buffet of hors d’oeuvres and desserts with lively music … guests may even see some local VIPs dealing cards.

For those who take the chance, they may be rewarded for their daring by winning one of the three-day, two-night weekend prizes at Redondo Beach or Oceanside.

The gala begins at 5 p.m. with cocktails. Gaming fun starting at 5:30 p.m. All this fun costs just $50 per person, which includes $100 in gaming chips and a drink ticket to start. There will also be a poker tournament for those experts wanting to try their luck. The buy-in for the tournament is $25 and sign-up is no later than 5:45 p.m.
