The Accredited Family of Home Care Services announced the affiliation of the Verdugo Hills Care at Home program with Accredited Home Care, effective Oct. 1. Accredited will oversee the management and operations of Verdugo Hills Care at Home, an established non-medical home care provider that supports local disabled, elderly and homebound clients’ desire to remain safe and independent within the comforts of their homes.
USC Verdugo Hills Hospital recently made the decision to align with Accredited to best manage the expansion and growth of its home care division.
“The non-medical homecare industry is rapidly evolving in California,” said Paul Czajka, chief operating officer at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. “In order for Verdugo Hills Care at Home to continue its growth throughout the foothill communities, we realized it was time to turn the reins over to an organization whose sole focus is home health care.”
“We are honored and excited about this new affiliation,” said Barry Berger, Accredited owner and president. “The Verdugo Hills Care at Home brand is very well known and respected, and we look forward to achieving even greater success through the relationship we will build together.”
