On Saturday the rain may have slowed the pancake flipping at the Crescenta Valley Town Council Annual Pancake Breakfast but it didn’t stop it.
The annual event had a bit of a slow start as clouds and drizzle had the hungry breakfast crowd looking for shelter. But after the clouds parted, the rain stopped and the sun shone, famished patrons were ready to fill their stomachs.
The CVTC pancake breakfast is a fundraiser for the council’s many programs including providing annual scholarships for local students.
