Youth in Business Entrepreneurs Day
The YMCA is hosting workshops on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 for young entrepreneurs. Participants will learn how to prepare their business ideas for possible funding and practice presentations to actual investors from the Pasadena Angels. These workshops are for teen in grades six through 12. Enter as a three or four person teams or as an individual

Check in and orientation is from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.

Workshop and presentations are from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. The cost is $12 per person, $36 per team. Includes lunch, all materials and a T-shirt.

Pancake Breakfast Benefits Scouts
On Nov. 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the community is invited to a pancake breakfast benefitting Cub Scout Pack 314 at St. James School. Scout dads will be flipping pancakes while Cub Scouts in their blue caps provide attentive service. The cost is just $5 for a great breakfast that also offers rice pancakes for the gluten conscious breakfaster!

CV’s Got Talent
Everyone knows that Crescenta Valley High School has a lot of talented students. Some of them will be highlighted at the school’s annual CV’s Got Talent show produced by the CVHS dance program.

CV’s Got Talent will highlight singers, musicians, bands, world dancers and dancers from the advanced, international and beginning dance program.

Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Performance begins at 7 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the CVHS MacDonald Auditorium, in the 4400 block of Ramsdell Avenue.
