Burbank Accepting Candidate Nominations

The City of Burbank is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Municipal Elections. The elections, which will be conducted by mail ballot, will seek to fill two Burbank City Council seats and three board of education seats.

Candidates for elective offices of the city must be a United States citizen; at least 18 years of age; a resident of the City of Burbank for at least 29 days prior to filing nomination papers; and a registered voter in the City of Burbank at the time of nomination.

Qualifying individuals may pick up nomination papers at the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 275 E. Olive Ave., Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The nomination period closes on Monday, Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.

The Primary Nominating Election will be held on Feb. 24 and the General Municipal Election will be held on April 14.
