The Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce Best Business Directory is packed with useful information and is a great resource guide for this community. All your essential phone numbers such as non-emergency police, fire, hospital and utilities are in the directory. Also included is contact information for all the local schools, elected officials, business information, libraries, parks and recreation and Glendale services. You can also view all the mixer dates and annual chamber events. To find local shops and services, the directory has all the chamber of commerce business members listed.

The 2015 directory is in the process of being produced, so this is the perfect time to reserve your ad space to highlight your business! The Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce prints about 9,000 copies of the Best Business Directory and it is distributed to every resident in the 91214 area. What better way to get your business information directly to the customer? One catch – you must be a Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce member to be listed in the directory. The listing is free and prices vary on advertisements depending on the size of the ad. If you’re not a Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce business member, what better time to join than right now?

What does the chamber of commerce do for you? Aside from the Business Directory, the Chamber welcomes new businesses by providing a ribbon cutting ceremony, local newspaper advertising, editorials in the chamber e-newsletter and a display area for your business brochures, cards and special event flyers in the chamber office and a listing on the chamber of commerce website. The chamber produces a monthly e-newsletter to keep community members informed about local events. This also provides a means for members to advertise their business. The chamber also promotes businesses through the sponsorship of regular networking mixers hosted by member businesses for networking with other businesses, professionals, law enforcement and other officials as well as a co-sponsored Foothills Community Business Expo for its members every September.

Several events and fundraising activities raise money to provide resources needed to promote local business, as well as to donate to the many schools and organizations in this community.

The Taste of the Foothills is coming up soon and a few
restaurant booths are still available. What a great way for a local restaurant to advertise their delicious food and lure that potential customer to the restaurant! The Taste is on Dec. 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the chamber provides all the tables and electricity. It should be a festive and appetizing event with all the holiday decorations!
