2200 block of Mira Vista Avenue in Montrose, a computer tablet, toolbox and paperwork were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

4500 block of Raymond Avenue in La Crescenta, a purse, its contents, and cellphone were stolen from a pew located inside the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church between 8:30 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.

Dec. 13

Montrose Avenue and Mira Vista Avenue in Montrose, a 26-year-old Altadena woman was arrested for public intoxication. Sheriffs responded to the location and found the woman was having difficulty standing. She either was unable to respond to some questions posed by the deputy or at times was slow to respond.

According to the report, deputies smelled a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her person. The woman reportedly told a deputy that she had just left a Christmas party and had only two glasses of wine. She was dressed in a black tube top, black miniskirt and was stumbling down a “poorly lit street by herself.” She had no phone with her at the time and no apparent way back to her home in Altadena.

The deputies arrested her and transported her to the CV Station at 1:30 a.m.

Dec. 11

2900 block of Mayfield Avenue in La Crescenta, a Philippine passport was stolen from a home between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

400 block of Oliveta Place in La Cañada, jewelry was stolen and several rooms of a home were ransacked between 10:38 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

1900 block of Hilldale Drive in La Cañada, cash, jewelry and an X-Box console were stolen and several rooms of a home were ransacked between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
