New Year, New Things to Share
The New Year is a wonderful time for change. Whether it is to lose weight, set business goals or make more time for friends and family, the New Year is just the right time to make inroads on achieving these goals. And you’re not alone! Thousands, if not millions, of people around the globe also recognize that Jan. 1 is the perfect time to implement changes that will make their lives better.
We at CV Weekly have eagerly climbed aboard the bandwagon and I am excited to share news with you that benefits not just us, but you, too!
First up is the addition to our staff of Soñya Marquez, advertising expert. Soñya brings over 11 years of media sales experience to CV Weekly. She’s well versed in the advertising needs of local businesses and has worked extensively with businesses and advertising agencies resulting in dynamic advertising plans that benefit her clients. Soñya will be working with businesses in the Burbank, Glendale and Eagle Rock areas. And don’t be surprised if her name is familiar – Soñya was a rep in the Glendale area several years ago. Welcome, Soñya!
And drum roll please: After years of hard work, CV Weekly is now adjudicated! Also known as a “newspaper of record,” we can now print legal notices – DBAs, probate notices, trustee notices, etc. Not only is this exciting for us, but it is a service that I have been wanting for years to provide. Since many of the offices of other local papers have closed, those who have had to publish these types of notices have had to travel to downtown Los Angeles or elsewhere to arrange for their notice(s) to be published. Now it’s as simple as heading over to 3800 La Crescenta Ave. #101 and filling out or bringing the necessary paperwork. Not only is it convenient for you but by using the services we provide, you will be supporting your local paper. The true definition of “win-win.” I offer a multitude of thanks to our attorney Alex Baroian who helped us navigate the legal waters to achieve this milestone.
Yes, 2015 is going to be a wonderful year. I am excited about all the possibilities that it holds and am grateful to everyone who has supported the CV Weekly and me over the years to bring us to where we are today. I wish you and your family every blessing in 2015 – health, peace and prosperity.
