On April 1, Tujunga Open Bible Church changed its name to Summit Christian Church.
Summit Christian Church has been serving the foothills community since its humble beginning in 1941 in a storefront on Foothill Boulevard. Over the years, the church grew and moved to its current location on Tujunga Canyon Boulevard in 1963. In 2014, the church welcomed new senior pastors Scott and Connie LeLaCheur. The LeLaCheurs bring 30 years of pastoral experience to the church.
Summit Christian Church will continue to remain a part of the Open Bible family of churches.
“Our vision is to help people in the foothill community to move to their next level no matter where they are today,” said Pastor Scott LeLaCheur. “We’re encouraging people to come up to the Summit and get a better view on life.”
Services are held on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at 9641 Tujunga Canyon Blvd. in Tujunga.
