Join the Chamber for a great business networking event and kick off your summer right! On Wednesday, July 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. we are our holding annual anniversary mixer. It will take place at the newly renovated office space at 3156 Foothill Blvd., home of CV Insurance. You will be able to see their newly renovated office space and discover the businesses that have already rented some of the space and learn what is still available. But really – you should come just for the networking and fun. This is one of our most well attended mixers, along with our August Hawaiian luau mixer. Many people come out to our anniversary mixer to see old friends and colleagues. This mixer is a special one because this is when we recognize Chamber members who have been with the Chamber for five, 10, 15, 20, 25 years, etc. This long-standing tradition is our way to say thank you and to show our appreciation to our members’ continued support of the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce. We couldn’t do this without them. The Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for your business with the City of Glendale and hosts election forums, monthly mixers and the annual Oktoberfest and Montrose BrewFest events along Honolulu Avenue. On July 1, we will have a live band, good old-fashioned barbecue with all the fixins’, roasted corn, lemonade, watermelon, opportunity drawings and so much more. We will also be giving away a special prize to the person who shows the most patriotic spirit. So pull out your “flag gear.” Wear your favorite tie, shirt or hat, put on your “flag” T-shirt or your flag swim trunks and show your American pride. We hope to see you all there!

July ArtWalk is on Saturday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the 2300 block of Honolulu Avenue.

August business mixer on Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s our Summer Beach Bash and Hawaiian Luau!

Montrose Food and Brewfest on Sunday, Aug. 16 from noon to 4 p.m. in the 2200 block of Honolulu Avenue.

Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 3 from noon to 11 p.m. along the 2200, 2300 & 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue.
