There’s just one more tournament for the Crescenta Valley varsity football team to play this summer. That will be this Saturday at Arroyo High School. After that, it’s a month-long break before the defending Southeast Division champions get back to work when the school year kicks off in August. The 2015 season schedule is out, and it looks the same as last year except for the sites of the games. The Falcons will open on the road against Verdugo Hills on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. CV has beaten the Dons the past two season openers. Golden Valley and La Cañada are once again on the schedule as non-Pacific League games.

The team opens league play at Glendale’s Moyse Field against Burbank on Sept. 25. A key game will be a home affair against Muir. It was last year’s victory at Muir that propelled the Falcons to the league title and on their way to an undefeated championship season.

As always, the season will close with a date with Arcadia, this time at Moyse Field on Nov. 5. For more information on every level of the Falcon football program, including schedules, photos and announcements, visit www.falconfootball.net.
