May 24
1200 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a camera was stolen and the front passenger window was shattered on a vehicle between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Montrose and Briggs avenues in Montrose, a 26-year-old Fontana man was arrested for transportation of marijuana over an ounce after deputies stopped him due to a traffic violation. The man said he had a medical marijuana card and had purchased the large amount of marijuana from a clinic in Anaheim. He could not remember the clinic’s name or address. He allegedly told deputies he had forgotten it was in his vehicle and was on his way to his girlfriend’s home but reportedly could not remember his girlfriend’s address or directions to her home. He was arrested at 1:40 a.m.
1300 Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the rear driver’s side window was smashed but nothing was reported stolen from a vehicle between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
1400 Descanso Drive in La Cañada, the rear driver’s side window was smashed on a vehicle while it was parked in the Descanso Gardens’ parking lot. Nothing was reported stolen.  The incident took place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the front passenger window was smashed and an iPod video was stolen from a vehicle between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
4300 block of Oak Grove Drive in La Cañada, the right rear passenger window was smashed and two guitars, a guitar case and other musical equipment were stolen from a vehicle that was parked at La Cañada High School between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

1400 block of El Vago Street in La Cañada, a global positioning system was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

May 21
2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a cellphone, money and personal information were stolen from a bag that was left at the side of the basketball court. The owner had left it at the location while playing basketball. The items were stolen between 2:05 p.m. and 2:50 p.m.

May 20
4100 block of Woodleigh Lane in La Cañada, a golf bag was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
600 block of Foxwood Road in La Cañada, a wallet and other personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, the front glass door of Salon Andalucia was smashed and the business was ransacked and an undetermined amount of cash was stolen sometime overnight.
500 block of Georgian Road in La Cañada, golf clubs, a golf bag, a global positioning system and other personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in an open garage. The incident occurred overnight.
5100 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada, several personal items were stolen from a residence overnight.

May 18
2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a duffle bag with personal items were stolen from the soccer field at Crescenta Valley High School.  The owner of the items was playing soccer at the time.  The incident occurred between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
3000 block of Encinal Avenue in La Crescenta, the front passenger window was broken into pieces and a charging cable for an iPod was stolen from a vehicle between 10:30 a.m. and 12:20 p.m.

May 17
2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a pair of UGGs boots was stolen from a gym locker that was left unlocked at Crescenta Valley High School between 1:35 p.m. and 2:10 p.m.
Mary Street east of Glenwood Avenue in La Crescenta, a vehicle was vandalized when someone threw eggs at it between 9:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a purse and cellphone were stolen from a student attending Crescenta Valley High School.  The student reported that she had placed her purse in her backpack, which she had with her throughout the day. She only left it during gym class when she placed it in a secured locker. After gym class she opened her locker, which still appeared secure, and changed her clothes. It was then that she noticed her property was removed from her backpack.  The incident occurred between 1:30 p.m. and 2:10 p.m.
