Murder Investigation on Frances Avenue Continues

The investigation continues into the murder of Arthur Palmer, 73, in the 3000 block of Frances Avenue.

Palmer’s body was discovered at about 1:30 p.m. on July 24 in the attached garage of his home. The cause of death was “multiple blunt force traumatic injuries,” according to Lt. Kelly Yagerliner, Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

Det. Dawn Retzlaff of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit has been working the case and continues to follow up on leads. She is asking for the public’s help with any information concerning Palmer.

“[We’d like to talk to] anyone who saw or spoke to him that week,” she said of the week ending July 24.

Retzlaff also asks anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to call the LASD Homicide Unit and ask for her.
