Southern California music lovers enjoyed a final night of music magic by Maestro Victor Vener and his world-class orchestra this past weekend during the California Philharmonic 2015 summer season finale, Postcards From Abroad. The highly anticipated concert took place on Saturday at Santa Anita Race Track and Sunday at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Concertgoers traveled to Europe with “Capriccio Espagnol” and “Il Postino,” rediscovered the rhythms of New York City with Gershwin’s “Second Rhapsody,” that featured pianist Bryan Pezzone, and explored Kenya with “Out Of Africa.”

Audiences were also treated to the fantastical worlds of “The Hobbit” and “Harry Potter.”
