FBCLC 70th Anniversary

There are only 10 more days until the FBCLC cheerful family event, “First Baptist Church at La Crescenta (FBCLC) 70th Anniversary” on Sept. 13. Service starts at 10:45 a.m. and will be followed by a splendid luncheon. With a bouncy house for kids and a sno cone machine, all are assured a grand time! Let’s celebrate FBCLC and let’s celebrate the growth of FBCLC! We are looking forward to seeing you all, members from long ago, current members and new members.

‘Living Proof Live Simulcast’ at Summit Church

LifeWay Christian Resources is slated to simulcast well-known Bible teacher and best-selling author Beth Moore live from Wichita, Kansas on Sept. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Summit Christian Church is serving as a host location for the foothills area. Tickets are $15 and cover one full day of music and worship; sessions led by Beth Moore; and opportunities for fellowship with other women from the Tujunga community.

Classes at CSL

Dr. Marc Anthony’s “Accelerate Your Health” classes are in September. The workshops are every Wednesday in September from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living-La Crescenta. Register by calling (818) 249-1045.
