UPDATE 3:52p.m.–Confrontation in Front of CVHS

Crescenta Valley High School Principal Linda Junge has released an all call to parents concerning the arrest that occurred in front of CVHS this afternoon.

In her call Junge stated, because of the fire and sheriff activity she wanted to assure parents that CVHS is a safe place and that none of the students, staff or administrators were involved in the incident. CVHS security guards did assist with traffic.

The arrest occurred about 2:30 p.m. when a deputy attempted to arrest a 20-year-old man who was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon on another person. The suspect resisted arrest and confronted the deputy. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was called to attend to any injuries.
