The Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Dept. is inviting the community to a Winter Wonderland event on Dec. 5 at Two Strike Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The parks and rec department is trucking in real snow to Two Strike for Southern California kids to get a brief experience of what their Midwestern and east coast counterparts get to play in throughout the winter. However, because it’s California the predicted 70 degree Fahrenheit weather will make creating a snowman a lot more comfortable.

There will be activities for kids including a bounce house and arts and crafts. Local vendors have been invited to fill a few booths with holiday items to sell.

Two Strike Park is located at 5107 Rosemont Ave. in La Crescenta. There is no charge to attend.
