The Falcon Water Polo Club in its first year of competition is headed to the National Junior Olympics after finishing  fourth in the Coastal Zone Junior Olympics qualifying tournament June 5-6.
The Falcon girls, coached by Heather McGlaughlin, ended the weekend with a 3-2 record. The team of Grace Alegro, Devin Grab, Sabrina Pierce, Savannah Pierce, Maya Alvarez, Shannon Hovanesian, Elissa Arnold, Eliza Shirvanian, Ashley Taylor, Lynley Fernandez, Mackenzie Duke, Molly Bertram, Lisa Echeverria, Katie Lang and Kay Kingsbury earned a spot in the top six teams that are scheduled to compete Aug. 4-8 in the National Junior Olympics.
