The Valley View Elementary School PTA hosted an exhibit in November showcasing the work of those students who participated in the Reflections program. The PTA Reflections Program is a nationally recognized arts and achievement program for students. This program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme, while increasing community awareness on the importance of the arts in education.

Valley View students were honored in many categories. Approximately 108 entries were submitted for Reflections in four of the art categories: film, photography, literature, and visual arts. The first place winners will go on to compete at the district level.
