The La Cañada Gladiator Pee Wee team was honored with an awards ceremony at city hall on Dec. 15. Members of the undefeated team were awarded individual certificates of recognition by the City Council of La Cañada. Mayor David Spence and Mayor Pro Tem Jonathan C. Curtis made the presentations.

The Gladiators finished the season with a record of 11-0 and defeated the Huntington Park Spartans 24-18 in the conference championship game on Nov. 21.
