Wanted: Handcrafted Products to Sell

Do you have a handcrafted product to sell? We’re looking for innovative individuals who like to make handcrafted goods. Showcase your talent at the upcoming Hometown Country Fair!

This year, the CV Chamber is working in cooperation with the Armenian Cultural Foundation-CV Chapter and the Korean-American Federation of North Los Angeles. With two stages, a car show, dog parade, food court, crafts, carnival rides, pie-eating contest and much more, this year’s Fair is going to be bigger and better than ever!

What: Hometown Country Fair

When:  Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where:  Crescenta Valley Park

Admission: Free

Booth Prices: $125 or $195 (including EZ-Up tent); Non-profits – $0 or $70

If you are an artist, a crafter, or sell a unique product, we would like to invite you to participate. We expect to see over 5,000 attendees at this year’s Fair. Share your jewelry, soaps, handmade brooms, cotton sheets, wind chimes … whatever … with the residents of the Crescenta Valley and beyond.

Vendor applications are available to download on our website. Go to www.crescentavalleychamber.org/fair. Booth spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be date-stamped as they arrive. The deadline for submission is March 26.

Any vendor selling food or offering tastes must be pre-approved by a Fair committee. Health Department permits and extra fees are required. Contact the Chamber with details of the type of food you would like to serve.

Non-profit organizations are also invited to host booths at the Fair. Visit the website for details and applications.

Want to take your participation up a notch? Be a sponsor! Your business name and logo will be featured prominently on event posters, flyers, banners and all media advertising. You’ll receive a complimentary booth and opportunities to promote your business at the Fair. Show the community you care by supporting this wonderful community event. Upcoming events

The annual Pre-Smart-a-Thon mixer will take place Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bob Smith Toyota Scion, 3333 Foothill Blvd. The membership drawing is up to a whopping $425! If you are a business member, yours might be the lucky name drawn out of the jar, but you must be present to win! There are plenty of other prize drawings plus great Mardi Gras-themed food, drink and music. Come meet other area business owners and the customers who like to patronize them! Only $7 for members, $9 for non-members.
