Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Morovati Wellness Center
We here at the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber are always excited to welcome a new business to town. It is good news for everyone. Verdugo Road, just south of Broadview, has seen many changes in the last year and is poised for a comeback. Many new businesses, like Morovati Wellness Center, have moved in providing new resources to the community. There is a boutique, a fitness center, an art studio, a taco shop and much more. We are officially welcoming Morovati to the community on Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. with a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration and would like to invite the businesses and the community to join us at 3515 N. Verdugo Road, Glendale.
Morovati Wellness Center offers comprehensive traditional chiropractic and holistic health services that incorporate the latest technology in pain management. They pride themselves in prompt resolution of symptoms, with their average length of care for most conditions being only four to six treatments. Morovati Wellness Center is well rooted within the community being on staff at Glendale Memorial Medical Center, Cedars Sinai Medical Pain Center as well as several local independent physicians’ associations. Their patients are referred by local orthopedic surgeons, general practitioners, family practitioners, dentists, neurologists, physical therapists, massage therapists, fitness trainers and other satisfied patients.
They have many exciting state-of-the-art technologies employed at Morovati Wellness such as the Acuscope for faster relief of aches and pains. They offer treatments in chiropractic, sports medicine, nutrition (including herbal and homeopathic), osteoporosis screenings and much more. Their website www.morovati.com has a plethora of information relating to many common illnesses and pains, as well as more information about their doctors and practice. Hopefully you will join us in welcoming them into the community at their ribbon cutting on Feb. 9 at 1 p.m.
Not only does the Chamber like to promote new businesses in town, we also like to pass on useful information and resources from the City of Glendale. The City of Glendale’s police department and Economic Development team are proud to present a safety seminar for the business community on a broad range of issues such as active shooter awareness, incident response and workplace violence. Hear from Glendale PD’s SWAT team on active shooter defined, history/debriefs of past active shooter incidents, expectations of police and fire during incident, what to do and what not to do in the event of an incident and how to assist first responders. This seminar is only for Glendale business owners, manager and location security representatives. It will be held at the Alex Theater in Glendale on Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. To RSVP contact Ani Pogossian at apogossian@glendaleca.gov or call (818) 548-2005 by Feb. 11.
