Dunsmore Elementary School Foundation (DESF) is holding it 11th Annual silent auction fundraiser and open house The Giving Tree Gala. This event raises critical funds for educational enrichment programming and materials at Dunsmore Elementary. The Giving Tree Gala will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the La Crescenta Woman’s Club. This year’s event honors SIS Travel, community partner of the year and Armeen Abella, volunteer of the year.

Advertising is available for placement in the event program. Promote business or congratulate the honorees! Ads are available in full page, half page, and quarter page sizes.

DESF is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization recognized by the IRS and the state of California (Tax ID # 95-4398719), established to ensure the continuity of school programs in light of budget cutbacks. Fundraising efforts provide vital learning tools and resources that are not offered by the district. These include updated computers and software, curriculum workbooks, playground equipment, physical education instruction, a music program for the primary grades, support for the school’s Lego robotics team, art supplies, and additional classroom materials and enrichment activities.
