Gourmet A Go Go finds new home in Cordon’s Market

For those who fretted that Gourmet A Go Go was Gourmet A Gone Gone, worry no longer. Gourmet A Go Go owner Gail Connell has relocated to long time family owned Cordon’s Ranch Market further west on Honolulu Avenue.
Restaurant and wine bar Gourmet A Go-Go was opened for four years in Montrose in the heart of the Montrose Shopping Park. A couple of months ago when the lease was up, Connell needed to make a decision. “I needed more space,” she said and, because catering has always been her main area of expertise, she decided to look for a cost effective area that would give her the space she needed.
At the same time, the owners of Cordons Market were interested in expanding their prepared food offerings. Connell’s menu, which includes eggplant parmesan, flavorful risotto, and a variety of sandwiches and other hot foods, can now be found daily within Cordon’s. She’s even brought her popular “Spa Cuisine” meals for those looking for a complete and balanced meal.
The addition of Gourmet A Go Go to Cordon’s builds on the store’s reputation “where quality exceeds price” which includes fresh produce that is priced many times below large supermarkets as well as a wide variety of items. Now when shopping for international foods, from polish sausages to various Persian dishes, from baklava to English candies, shoppers can stop at the back of the store to find out what Gourmet A Go Go also has on the menu.
For special occasions, O’Connell still offers full catering services. She specializes in corporate parties, weddings and cocktail parties.
Gourmet A Go Go is located within Cordon’s Ranch Market at 2931 Honolulu Ave. in La Crescenta just east of Ramsdell Avenue.
