When was the last time you played bingo? Waiting for the bingo balls to drop, marking off those numbers with a big dauber and enjoying the camaraderie of friends is really a lot of fun. Winning the big prize is even more fun! Bring back childhood memories, or make new ones, by coming to the CV Chamber Bingo Night on Feb. 27 at the American Legion Hall.

Here’s how it works. Your admission price of $10 gets you 10 bingo games, two cards per game, plus a dauber. Each of the 10 games pays at least $100! We’ll have official game callers and an easy-to-read projected display of called numbers.  There will be pizza and other goodies for sale (cheap!) and bonus bingo games.

Seating is limited at the Legion Hall. We recommend buying your tickets beforehand at the Chamber office. We can even send them to you through the mail up to a week before if you call with a credit card.  Tickets will be available at the door the night of the games but it may be for bench seating.

Doors open at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. Food and beverages will be available.  The first game starts at 7 p.m. The American Legion Hall is located at 4011 La Crescenta Ave., between Montrose and Honolulu avenues. Free parking is available on the street and at Crescenta Valley Church next door. Proceeds benefit the programs, scholarships and grants provided by the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce and its volunteer board of directors.

Crescenta Valley Day at the Races is at Santa Anita Park on Sunday, March 20 at 11 a.m.

Hometown Country Fair is at Crescenta Valley Park on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
