Feb. 16
400 block of South Verdugo Road in Glendale, an officer on patrol noticed a man walk over to a brick wall and peer over the top at a home and a shed. The property was under construction and surrounded by a chain-link fence. The man allegedly climbed over the wall and entered the shed. After a short time the man exited, walked to the porch and looked inside the home before entering. A few minutes later he reportedly exited with a leaf blower and climbed back over the wall.
The officer then contacted the man, 37, who was arrested for burglary at 2:15 p.m.
Feb. 13
400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man reported he sat down on a chair closest to the rear exit door in the children’s play area in McDonald’s. He placed his wallet on the table next to him. He reported seeing two men wearing dark clothing and walking toward him and toward the exit door. One of the men grabbed his wallet from the table and exited to the rear parking lot. The victim stated he witnessed both of the men heading eastbound on Foothill Boulevard.
Both men were described as Hispanic, 17 to 18 years old, 5’5” to 5’8” tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. They appeared to look like brothers. The two suspects entered the restaurant with a man in his late 30s, 5’7” tall and weighing 180 to 190 pounds with tattoos on his face and body and a woman described as in her late 30s, 5’5” tall weighing 140 pounds with “tattoos all over.”
The theft occurred between 6:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

4400 block of Oak Grove Drive in La Cañada, personal items were stolen and the front driver’s side window was smashed on a vehicle between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Feb. 12
Brand Avenue and Monterey Road in Glendale, a 24-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana, possession of a concealed weapon and a gang member in possession of a firearm after a routine traffic stop at 11:55 p.m.
Feb. 10
2500 block of Piedmont Avenue in Montrose, personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the front glass door of a pharmacy was shattered. There did not appear to be anything missing. The incident occurred at 12:25 a.m.
Feb. 9
2400 block of Laughlin Avenue in La Crescenta, a 2016 four-door white Toyota Camry was stolen overnight.

1300 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the third row bench seat of a vehicle was stolen and the rear window was pried open between 7:20 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Feb. 5
2200 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, officers responded to a call concerning a suspicious man in a vehicle. The officers found the man to be extremely intoxicated and “unable to care for himself.” He was placed under arrest for being drunk in public at 9 p.m.

Honolulu Avenue and Wickham Way in Montrose, an officer witnessed a man having difficulty walking in the area. When he was contacted, officers report he had difficulty communicating.
He was placed under arrest for being drunk in public at 9:15 p.m.
Feb. 2
2100 block of Broadview in Montrose, officers responded to a call concerning a man sleeping in the rear of the Glendale Water and Power plant. Officers found the man with a bottle of vodka next to him. The man had been sleeping on a piece of cardboard and was wrapped in blankets.
He was arrested for being drunk in public at 10:13 a.m.

2300 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, officers responded to a call concerning an intoxicated man at the bar of the location. Officers found the man in the bar, unable to sit up, walk or stand.
