GPD Seeks Public’s Help Regarding Two School Burglaries

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest involving this case.

On Saturday at about 1:45 a.m., three suspects forced entry to Toll Middle School located at 700 Glenwood Road in Glendale.

The suspects can be seen in a surveillance video roaming the halls carrying pry bars and hammers. Suspect 1 disabled several security cameras by striking them with a hammer. The suspects forced entry to about 20 classrooms and offices where they searched for valuables.

Most of the locked rooms were entered by smashing the door windows and reaching in to open the door. Cash was taken from one office and loss from classrooms is unknown.

Damage to the middle school is estimated at $20,000.

The same suspects appeared to have also burglarized Mark Keppel Elementary School next door between 4:10 a.m. – 4:23 a.m. Approximately four classrooms were broken into on the first floor and cash taken.

The suspects are described as:

Subject 1: Male white or Hispanic, 15 to 19 years old, 5’10” to 6’ tall with brown hair and medium build.

Suspect 2: Male Hispanic, 15 and 19 years old, 5’4” to 5’6” tall with a thin build and brown hair.

Suspect 3: Male white or Hispanic, 15 to 19 years old, 5’10” to 6’ tall and was clean-shaven.
