Midsummer Night Gala to Benefit Solheim

Solheim, one of the leading residential retirement home and care facilities in Southern California, is approaching its 94th year of service. It is one of the oldest, single-site non-profit residential care communities available. Caregivers touch the lives of hundreds of seniors – whether residents are facing an urgent need, a recovery, or simply seeking to improve their quality of life.

To support these efforts, on Saturday, June 4 Solheim will hold its First Annual Midsummer Night’s Gala! This not-to-be-missed event will be held at the Shakespeare Club of Pasadena and the festivities will include dining under the stars, live music and dancing, incredible raffle prizes and Shakespearean delights around every corner. We invite you, your friends and colleagues to join us.

Joel McKinnon Miller, immediate past chair of the Solheim board of directors and tireless volunteer, and stage and screen actor (currently he can be seen in the role of Detective Scully on the FOX comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), will be the evening’s host. The evening’s mistress of ceremonies will be Miriam Hernandez, award-winning journalist and ABC Channel 7 news reporter.

Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available. Gala sponsors and underwriters and their guests will enjoy many benefits such as premier VIP seating, VIP parking, a meet-and-greet with host McKinnon Miller, as well as recognition in the event program. Visit the website www.solheimlutheran.org for more details about additional sponsorship benefits.

Solheim boasts top-notch care including residential living with independence, assisted living with help from our nursing and housekeeping staff, skilled nursing care, rehabilitation or memory care.

Financial gifts are important because it provides immediate resources that are directed to urgent needs of Solheim. All gifts are appreciated.
