300 block of Georgian Road in La Cañada Flintridge, shoes and other personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 5:30 a.m. to 7:10 a.m.
April 13
4500 block of Palm Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, stepping-stones were stolen from a backyard of a home between April 2 and April 13.
April 12
2100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman reported placing her wallet on the counter at Ross Dress for Less while she was concluding her purchase. She finished her transaction and left the store accidently leaving her wallet on the counter. When she got out into the parking lot she realized her mistake and walked back to the counter. She asked the clerk if anyone had found the wallet but there was nothing turned in.
The deputy was called and, with the store manager, reviewed the surveillance footage that showed the victim leaving the counter without her wallet. A woman walked up to the counter, picked up the wallet and immediately began going through it. The woman was exchanging several items with the clerk and at the end of the exchange she placed the stolen wallet in her purse and left the area.
She is described as a white, in her 30s, 5’4” tall weighing about 170 pounds with black hair. At the time of the theft was wearing a long sleeved orange blouse, black pants and black shoes. The theft occurred at 12:53 p.m.
April 11
3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a man reportedly purchased items at the Shell service station. He took his wallet out, placed it on the counter, paid for the items and exited forgetting his wallet. He realized he had left his wallet about two hours later. He returned to the station but no one had turned the wallet into management. A review of the surveillance shows a man walking up to the counter. He apparently noticed the wallet, put it in his right pocket and exited the store.
The suspect is described as a male, 5’5” to 5’7” tall weighing about 220 to 250 pounds, with black hair. The theft occurred at 12:45 p.m.
