YMCA offers Cheer, Tumble & Dance Camp

The Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA is offering a camp for anyone between the ages of 7-13 interested in cheerleading, dance or gymnastics. The camp is good for beginners as well as enhancing more experienced skill sets.  There is no experience necessary to participate. The camp hours are from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The next session is from July 26-30. At the end of the week participants will perform routines.

CVHS Lady Falcon Basketball hosts car wash

On Saturday, July 10, the CVHS Lady Falcon basketball teams will host a car wash and bake sale from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Chevron Gas Station located on the northwest corner of La Crescenta and Honolulu avenues. A $5 donation is requested. Baked goods prices vary. Come out and support the CVHS ladies basketball teams.

for contest

Montrose Candy Company and Stephanie Wiley Photography announce their first photo contest. Children who visit Montrose Candy Company on Sunday, July 11 between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. will be photographed for free. Colorful dress and props are encouraged. Stephanie will photograph each child, then their photos will be available for sale on her website at www.stephaniewiley.com. The public will be able to view the photos online and in the store and will vote on their top three favorites. The three winners will receive a free color photo and a $20 gift card to Montrose Candy.
