Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce

“Our Business is Your Business”

All In the Family

Once you become a member of the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce you become a member of the Chamber family. You start building friendships, personal and business relationships, and connections that can benefit you personally and financially.
For example, a few years back our family dog was old and quite sick. Not wishing for him to suffer I reached out to JD Speas, a fellow Chamber board member and owner of Crescenta/Cañada Pet Hospital. JD, who became a friend of mine through our Chamber association, impressed me with his professional knowledge and genuine compassion for the care and well-being of all animals . . . and in our particular situation, a family pet whom we deeply loved. JD’s concern, sympathy, and loving care helped us during this time.
Jeero Habeshian, a Chamber board member and local realtor, wrote concerning his business experience with fellow board member Chris Aristo, proprietor of the State Farm Insurance office on Honolulu Avenue in Montrose.
“Chris Aristo is hands-on and very service attentive. My recent insurance policy experience involved various documents and visits. Chris made sure it was all done at my convenience and even visited me at my project in Beverly Hills to get documents signed.”
Robin Goldsworthy, a Chamber board member and owner/publisher of our CV Weekly community newspaper wrote, “The CV Chamber is an organization that I am so proud to be a part of . . . knowing the challenges similar organizations go through, it is a testament to the character of the board and its members how we work together and help each other.”
Recently one of our board members, Ken Biermann, lost his beloved wife Pat. With Ken’s permission I pass along his following comment: “With the recent passing of my wife Pat, the Chamber board stepped up with so many positive comments and thoughts that could only have been sent from those who cared so much for Pat and the relationship she and I shared while being a member of our Chamber.”
The Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce is so much more than a business-to-business organization. We are a family that truly cares about the well-being of one another . . . both in business and personally.
Chamber president Kaipo Chalk, owner of JR Hardware and Door on Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, had this to say: “What I love most about this Chamber is we work together as a team and we enjoy each other’s company as a family.”
Did you know the Chamber has a “member-to-member” program offering discounts to Chamber members who do business with other Chamber members?  Created by Chamber board member Mike Riley, it is a program designed to promote and encourage Chamber members doing business with other Chamber members.
