Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival June 4 and 5
Montrose Arts and Crafts is coming up this weekend and it’s the biggest event of the year here in Montrose this Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
2016 will mark the 33rd anniversary of the Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival. It’s one of the oldest events of its type in California and is the largest public event in Glendale. More than 300 fine artists, crafters, food vendors, California Certified farmers, musicians and entertainers will make their way to Montrose on festival weekend. Some vendors come from as far away as Arizona and New Mexico. The festival draws visitors from far and wide with a wonderful array of handmade crafts, jewelry, fine art, textiles, flowers and much more.
The Festival has grown into an event for the entire family and features live entertainment, a children’s activity area and an expanded international food court with seating for 100 people. Here, busy shoppers can sample everything from Hawaiian rotisserie chicken, Thai food and tamales to good old American barbecue while enjoying live music.
The Festival weekend is a great time to re-discover and explore the almost 200 businesses that comprise the historic, century-old Montrose Shopping Park. Come spend festival weekend in charming Old Town Montrose and enjoy the family fun and tradition of the Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival!
This week our farmers will be located on Ocean View south of Honolulu Avenue. Featured will be organic basil, green beans, blackberries, and boysenberries . . . always freshly picked.
