June 9

7900 block of Foothill Boulevard in Tujunga, a 27-year-old Tujunga man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after deputies found him allegedly staggering and swaying side-to-side while walking down the street at 3 a.m.

June 8

5200 block of Starlight Mesa Lane in La Cañada, the sliding glass door at a home was shattered and an iPad was stolen from a home between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

June 7

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a 23-year-old Glendale man was arrested for allegedly possessing items belonging to a store after he walked out of the location without attempting to pay. During the investigation deputies allegedly found narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia. The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances, methamphetamine and benzodiazepines, and possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:50 p.m.

June 3

1200 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

June 2

3000 block of Evelyn Street in La Crescenta, several rooms were ransacked; a safe with personal information, jewelry and car keys were stolen from a home and a rear glass door was shattered. A person was in the home at the time of the residential burglary; however, she did not report hearing anything.

The incident occurred between 7:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman was arrested for allegedly stealing several kitchen items and food from a store. An employee followed the woman out of the store and, after confronting her, she allegedly took all the items in question out of a sack she had taken into the store.

She was arrested at 12:53 p.m.

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman was arrested for taking ice and champagne from a store without attempting to pay for the items at 6:25 p.m.

May 31

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possibly methamphetamine, after deputies responded to a call concerning a man who entered a restroom at Baskin-Robbins and did not exit. When deputies found the man he was in the process of taking his pants off and throwing them into the trashcan.

After an investigation deputies allegedly found the controlled substance in one of the pant’s pockets. The arrest occurred at 9:35 p.m.

May 27

2000 Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a cash box was stolen and the lock on a door was broken from the location. Surveillance video shows a man wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and blue shoes entering the location’s office via an unlocked door and stealing several items at 4:40 p.m.

May 21

4700 block of Rosemont Avenue in La Crescenta, a skateboard was stolen from Rosemont Middle School at 2:21 p.m.
